Rentals

There is a two (2) night minimum (three (3) night minimum during holidays: Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day. 

DESCRIPTION: Note that the rentals are (4) condo-style suites.  There are two units on the ground level and two units on the second-floor level.  Each unit sleeps up to 8 guests (32 guests total). The price for each unit is the same for any number of guests up to 8 in your group. If your group is larger than 8 guests, there may be additional charges.  The master bedroom can sleep 2 guests with a king size bed. The guest bedroom can sleep 4 with a single upper bunk, a lower full or queen size bed and single rollaway or trundle bed.  The living room can sleep 2 guests with a queen size sofa bed.  Note that the units are located in a commercial marina with a small grass area.  First floor guests have an open patio and second floor guests have a large screened-in deck.  All units overlook the harbor activity with plenty of neighborhood areas for walking and bike-riding and immediate access to East Harbor State Park which offers many areas for fishing, picnics, beaches, etc.

PETS & SMOKING:  Neither pets nor smoking are permitted within the units.

DOCKAGE: Dockage is available for up to a 35′ boat at no extra cost from April 1st through November 1st of each year during the length of your lodging stay. The rental docks are located directly adjacent to the condo rental for your convenience. The marina is located on the main channel of West Harbor with easy access to Lake Erie. 

SWIMMING POOL:  There is a large commercial swimming pool adjacent to the rental building.  This pool is private for all renters and those boaters and neighbors that have memberships.  The heated swimming pool is open Memorial Day through Labor Day weekends.  PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL FOOD AND DRINK AT THE POOL MUST BE PURCHASED FROM THE BAR PURSUANT TO OUR LIQUOR LICENSE AND THE OHIO LIQUOR LAWS. 

BAR: There is a dockside/poolside bar called “Boondocks” adjacent to the rental building. It is family friendly and for customers to enjoy the views overlooking the harbor. It is open weekends only in May, everyday Memorial Day through Labor Day and weekends only in September. There is live music on the weekends Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays during the daytime/evening hours (generally no later than 11:00pm).  During your stay at the rentals you may hear the music but we do not anticipate that it will be a disturbance to the rentals. but certain evenings may be louder than others.  Please contact us with any questions prior to confirming your reservation.

LOCATION: We are located at West Harbor Marina west off Buck Road (aka N SR 269) directly across from the exit of East Harbor State Park.  The address is 5401 E. Maritime Shoreway, Marblehead, OH 43440.  Please check our website for a map and directions. 

RESERVATION RESTRICTION: There must be at least one person in the group who is over the age of 25 and will be personally responsible for the reservation and any damage.
